About Me

Supporting Families and Children Through Challenges

carlabrown.jpg

I’m Carla, a compassionate counsellor and experienced child and family social worker, offering mental health support to individuals throughout the UK, with a particular focus on children and young people. My approach is centred on building strong relationships, enhancing communication, and nurturing positive, healthy connections for everyone I work with.

My Journey

Having grown up in a separated family and as a parent to a neurodivergent child, I understand first-hand how important it is for children and young people to feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I’ve always been passionate about creating a safe space where they can be themselves, somewhere they don’t have to have it all figured out.

Over the years, I’ve supported children, teens, and young adults through a wide range of challenges, whether they’re feeling overwhelmed at school, navigating changes at home, struggling with confidence, or finding it hard to express their emotions or build connections. I’m here to listen without judgment, walk alongside them, and help them develop the tools they need to feel more empowered, understood, and hopeful about the future.
